I think this is my fourth attempt at blogging. I watched a TED talk once that said people who procrastinate are more creative and therefore more likely to succeed. I like this thinking. Whilst I’ve never heard the phrase, ‘fourth time lucky’, I feel like this fact means it could actually apply this time.

This little piece of the internet started as a way for me to document my time in Madrid as part of my university year abroad. Since then, it has become a travel blog of sorts: a journal of the adventures I’ve had around the world. There will likely be some non-travel related musings, (read: unhinged ramblings), along the way, but the main aim is to document my quest to visit 30 countries before I turn 30 whilst also working full time.

I feel as if only my 5 friends and my Mum read this blog, and that might be because traditional blogging has almost died out but, if you are reading this 1) thank you and 2) do interact with me! You can add this page to your WordPress Reader, leave comments, share with other people you think might like a read – go wild! You can keep up to date with the blog on Twitter, Tiktok and Insta too, (all are @deardishablog).

So, grab a cuppa/a margarita/a kombucha and get started!
