Reflection of the Week IV

fullsizeoutput_12adfullsizeoutput_12a9fullsizeoutput_12acfullsizeoutput_12abIMG_6269fullsizeoutput_12c8fullsizeoutput_12aeThis week, hundreds of people have descended upon this usually very sleepy town to celebrate Cervantes day, (which was a holiday here). For about a week now there’s been a huge medieval market with a huge array of knick knacks, food, (think enormous rolls of cheese), and even stripper bra straps.// Esta semana, cientos de personas han venido a este pueblo tranquillo para celebrar El DĆa Cervantes (que fue una fiesta aqui).

I know my ‘snaps of the week’ post usually goes up on Sundays, but I’ve been a bit out of kilter this weekend after Saturday night.

Week number 4! One month in! I honestly don’t know where the time has gone. This week has been a pretty good one. Except from the fact that I have a nasty cold; I’ve been really happy this week. I feel like I’m fully settling into things now, accepting the things I can’t change and seeing the positives that may come from them.

I feel like I’m understanding more at uni, so I think my listening skills have improved a lot since being here. I’m still struggling with the speaking part, but I think my vocab has widened massively and conjugating verbs on the spot, (especially in the fucking indefinite), is coming to me more readily too. I definitely have a long way to go, and I’m no where near fluent, but I think I’m on the right track.

I have noticed though that I have blown an amount of money I’m not ready to acknowledge. I would say 2/3rd of my loan has gone and it’s been one month. On the one hand, I want to explore and experience everything and not give a shit about my bank balance, but at the same time, not being able to pay next months rent isn’t too appealing. This week I’m being a bit stricter with myself: only spend on necessities and be frugal, in order to save up for a bit of travelling and doing fun things.

Anyways, right now, all is very well.
I’m outcheaa guys; living my best life.

// Normalmente, yo publicitĆ© ‘snaps of the week’ el domingo pero este fin de, no he sentido bien despuĆ©s de mi noche el sĆ”bado.

Semana numero 4!

Me he dado cuenta de que, he gastado muchĆsima dinero.

Estoy aqui tĆos; estoy viviendo mi mejor vida.
