So this week, I was literally in uni for 2 days. Monday was El Día de Cervantes, then Thursday was El Día de la Hispanidad (or Fiesta Nacional de España), where the military are celebrated and the fallen are remembered. After waking up too late to make any of the actual parades, I managed to catch them on TV then headed into the city to make the most of the free day.
It was such a beaut day. We drank and ate the entire day, chased the sun and hung out with some new people.
It was one of those days that makes me so grateful for this year abroad opportunity.

I don’t have anything planned yet for this week, but so far I’m lowkey happy about it. My cold has gone but I have a very annoying lingering cough that just really needs to fuck off, so I welcome a bit of rest.

El lunes fue El Día de Cervantes y después, el jueves due El Día de la Hispanidad (o Fiesta Nacional de España), que es una celebración del ejercito y para conmemorar los caídos. Me levanté demasiada tarde para ver las procesiones, pero vi un poquito en la tele. Fui a la ciudad para aprovechar del día libre.
Fue un día agradable. Bebemos y comemos todo el día. Perseguimos el sol y pasamos tiempo con nuevos amigos.
Fue un día que me hace agradecida para esta oportunidad de vivir al extranjero.

No tengo planes para esta semana pero no me importa. Mi resfriado ha desaparecido pero tengo un tos muy irritante, entonces, me gustaría descansar un poco.
