Leeds Life: Almost Famous

The Big F*** Off Strawberry Daiquiri (I jest not, that’s what it’s called on the menu)
The Phok-Meat burger: deep fried halloumi deliciousness
(Apologies for the horrendous quality of the photos, my phone camera is shockingly shit)

If you live/happen to visit the North, there is one restaurant you need to visit. By need, I mean it’s imperative you go.

Just off Millenium Square on Great George Street, you will find a super fun, quirky, American style diner, serving up, (hands down), the best burgers in Leeds. Think kitchen roll as napkins, food served in those all-American plastic baskets, graffiti looking artwork on the walls and a banging playlist. The only thing lacking is that the staff don’t wear skates!

The menu has something for everyone. Delicious beef burgers, incredible veggie burgers, (I always opt for the Phok-Meat burger), and they just added a vegan bad boy to their menu. The draaaanks are delicious and you absolutely need to order the *drum roll please* MAC AND CHEESE BALLS on the side.

I will say that service can be a bit slow sometimes, but I think it really does depend on what time of the day you go. On Tuesdays, students get 50% off burgers (just take your student card), and the online table booking service is quick and easy.

I honestly cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Find them here and their other locations in Manchester and Liverpool, (I beg you come down to London!), and let me know what you order. Once I leave Leeds, I can only live it through you guys and my memories *le cries*.
